The Color Blue Will Help Sell Your Home

Yes, that’s right. You will notice I use the color blue a lot in the homes I stage for sale,and there is a good reason why. Okay, there are a couple of good reasons why. Here are a couple good reasons you should use blue indoor home before you put up a “For Sale” sign:

Blue stands outs in photos and most people have a calming reaction when they see the color blue. So since most Buyers get a first impression of a home online,it makes sense for them to have a calming reaction first,something to entice them to see the home in person. If it looks calm online and also stands out, chances are you will have more showings.
It’s the easiest hue to work with. So what does this mean to someone who is NOT an interior designer? It just means that blue is an easy color to work with because it has warm and cool tones that can work with any other color scheme in a house.
Dark shades of blue like navy and royal blue are great for homes in need of updating when there is no budget to do so. You know the homes I’m talking about- brass finishes on EVERYTHING!! Navy along with crisp whites pair nicely to old finishes like brass.
Light blue is my go-to for any neutral space- which is my way of saying “too much BROWN” You don’t want your home to look like a big pile of shit, yes, you heard me. Light blue is a great color to add life to a space without overpowering it too much, makes it look more elegant, even in a more comfortable setting. Soft blues stir feelings of trust and dependability, two important things for buyers to feel while touring your house.
